Shipping overview
WeBuyTools.com provides prepaid shipping labels for eligible and approved tool orders submitted through our website. Shipping instructions are generally sent after an order has been reviewed and the required package information has been received.
Sellers are responsible for packaging tools safely, using the correct shipping label, and delivering the package to the carrier identified on the label.
Prepaid shipping labels
For approved orders, WeBuyTools.com will provide a prepaid shipping label at no charge to the seller. Labels may be sent by email after we receive the package dimensions, package weight, number of boxes, and any other information needed to prepare the shipment.
Do not reuse a label, alter the label, or apply the label to a package that contains items not included in the approved order.
Shipping labels are created based on the information provided by the seller. If the final package is substantially larger, heavier, or different from the information submitted, additional review may be required before shipment.
Packaging requirements
Tools must be packed securely in a strong shipping box appropriate for the weight and size of the shipment. Use sufficient protective packaging to prevent movement, impact, scratching, or damage during transit.
- Use a sturdy corrugated shipping box in good condition.
- Remove old shipping labels and unrelated barcodes.
- Wrap tools individually when multiple items share one box.
- Fill empty space so tools cannot move freely inside the box.
- Use strong packing tape on every open seam.
- Do not allow sharp or heavy components to press against the box walls.
- Remove loose accessories or secure them inside the package.
Original retail packaging alone may not provide enough protection. When necessary, place the retail package inside a stronger outer shipping box.
Carrier drop-off
The package must be delivered to an authorized location for the carrier shown on the prepaid label. Sellers should request and retain a drop-off receipt whenever one is available.
Leaving a package at an unattended location, an unauthorized third-party location, or with a different carrier may prevent tracking from activating and can delay or invalidate a shipping claim.
Tracking and delivery
Tracking normally begins after the carrier scans the package. Carrier scans may not appear immediately after drop-off.
Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed by WeBuyTools.com. Weather, carrier disruptions, holidays, address corrections, and other events outside our control may affect transit time.
A carrier delivery scan does not mean inspection is complete. Packages must first be received, opened, matched to the order, and inspected by our team.
Shipping multiple tools
Whenever safely possible, sellers should consolidate multiple approved tools into fewer boxes. Consolidation makes it easier to prepare labels, track the shipment, and match the tools to the correct order.
Heavy tools should not be combined in a way that creates an unsafe package or increases the likelihood of damage. If more than one box is required, each box must use the correct label assigned to that package.
Restricted and prohibited items
Do not ship any item that was not approved as part of the order. Sellers must follow all carrier rules and applicable laws concerning batteries, fuels, oils, chemicals, compressed gases, hazardous materials, and restricted goods.
- Drain fuel and other prohibited liquids before shipping.
- Do not ship leaking, swollen, recalled, or visibly damaged batteries.
- Do not conceal hazardous materials inside a tool case or package.
- Do not include ammunition, weapons, chemicals, or unrelated personal items.
WeBuyTools.com may refuse, return, or safely dispose of items that cannot legally or safely be accepted, transported, or processed.
Damage, loss, or shipping delays
If tracking stops updating, a package appears lost, or a shipment arrives damaged, contact us as soon as possible. We may request the drop-off receipt, photographs of the package, photographs of the packing materials, or other information needed to review the shipment.
Carrier claims are subject to the carrier’s rules, documentation requirements, coverage limits, and final determination. WeBuyTools.com does not guarantee that a carrier claim will be approved.
Damage caused by inadequate packaging, an incorrect label, prohibited contents, inaccurate package information, or failure to follow shipping instructions may not be eligible for reimbursement.
Incorrect, missing, or additional items
Each shipment should contain only the tools and accessories included in the corresponding approved order. If a package contains an incorrect item, an unapproved item, or is missing an expected item, we may contact the seller for clarification.
Unapproved items may not be eligible for payment. Return shipping, storage, handling, or disposal options may depend on the item, carrier restrictions, and the circumstances of the shipment.
Delivery, inspection, and payment
Payment is not issued solely because a package has been delivered. All tools are subject to inspection and verification after arrival. We may verify the model, condition, functionality, authenticity, included components, and whether the shipment matches the order submitted online.
If the tools match the order and pass inspection, payment will be processed according to the payout method selected or confirmed for the order.
If the condition, model, quantity, or contents differ from the submitted order, we may contact the seller before completing the transaction.
