3. Selling Tools

Tool Condition

Sellers must accurately select and disclose the condition of submitted items, including:

  • Used-Good

  • Used-Acceptable

We reserve the right to revise offers if:

  • The condition differs from the submission

  • Parts or accessories are missing

  • The item is damaged, modified, counterfeit, unsafe, or incomplete

Accuracy of Information

Sellers are responsible for:

  • Accurate descriptions

  • Correct model numbers

  • Serial numbers when requested

  • Photos and condition disclosures

  • Proper packaging and shipment preparation

4. Marketplace & Liquidity Platform Services

WeBuyTool.com may operate as a marketplace and liquidity platform facilitating transactions involving tools and equipment.

WeBuyTools does not independently verify:

  • Ownership history

  • Prior use history

  • Provenance

  • Authenticity of every item listed or submitted

While we implement fraud prevention and review systems, sellers remain solely responsible for the legality and ownership of submitted items.

5. Shipping

Shipping Labels

Prepaid shipping labels may be provided for approved transactions.

Sellers must:

  • Ship within 7 days unless otherwise agreed

  • Package items securely

  • Use accurate package dimensions and weights

  • Comply with all carrier rules and regulations

Shipping Liability

Responsibility for the shipment remains with the sender until the package is accepted and scanned by the shipping carrier.

WeBuyTools is not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays

  • Lost packages prior to carrier acceptance

  • Damage caused by improper packaging

  • Incorrect shipping information provided by the seller

6. Inspection & Revised Offers

All items are subject to inspection upon arrival.

If an item:

  • Does not match the submitted condition

  • Is incomplete

  • Is damaged

  • Contains undisclosed defects

  • Appears counterfeit, altered, or suspicious

  • Revise the offer

  • Reject the item

  • Request additional verification

If a revised offer is declined, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the seller.

  • ACH / Direct Deposit

  • Wire Transfer

  • Other approved methods

Processing times vary by provider.

We reserve the right to:

  • Delay payouts

  • Split payouts

  • Hold payouts

  • Reverse payouts

  • Request identity verification

when necessary for:

  • Fraud prevention

  • Chargeback investigations

  • Ownership disputes

  • Compliance reviews

  • Law enforcement requests

  • Suspicious activity investigations

8. Fraud Prevention & Investigations

WeBuyTools reserves the right to:

  • Refuse any transaction

  • Cancel transactions

  • Suspend accounts

  • Hold shipments

  • Freeze payouts

  • Request additional documentation

  • Permanently ban users

if we suspect:

  • Fraud

  • Theft

  • Counterfeit merchandise

  • Chargeback abuse

  • Policy violations

  • Suspicious activity

  • Misrepresentation

We may use internal fraud detection systems, manual reviews, shipping verification, identity verification, IP/device analysis, and third-party services to protect the platform.

9. Cooperation With Law Enforcement

  • Shipping carriers

  • Insurance providers

  • Third-party investigators

in matters involving:

We reserve the right to preserve and disclose transaction records, shipping records, communications, account information, and related data when legally necessary or reasonably appropriate.

10. Prohibited Items

WeBuyTools may refuse or remove any item including but not limited to:

  • Hazardous materials

  • Unsafe equipment

  • Illegal items

  • Recalled products

  • Modified serial-number items

  • Items prohibited by law or carrier regulations

11. Returns & Abandoned Property

If an item is rejected or a revised offer is declined:

  • Return shipping costs must be paid by the seller within 14 days

If return shipping is not arranged or paid within that timeframe, the item may be considered abandoned and forfeited to WeBuyTools without compensation.

12. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend

  • Restrict

  • Limit

  • Permanently terminate

any account or transaction for:

  • Fraud

  • Abuse

  • Policy violations

  • Excessive disputes

  • Suspicious activity

  • Risk to the platform or users

We may do so with or without prior notice.

13. Intellectual Property

  • Branding

  • Text

  • Graphics

  • Product layouts

  • Images

  • Website designs

  • Software and systems
